At Be Well Physiotherapy, we have a holistic and patient-centred approach with all our clients as we consider important to:Treat every patient in his oneness and not only apply standardized protocols

In order to maintain activities of daily living, people will try to continue to move even if there is pain or discomfort. It is done at the cost of body compensations and adaptation mechanisms.  As a result, each body is unique.
Also, an isolated muscular action does not exist: the body organizes its expressions and movements through chains made of a series of muscles grouped for a specific function. We call it  “muscular chains”.

When you have any muscle pain, even if you feel it just in your knee, it is important to work on your body compensations and adaptation mechanisms. This implies working on muscles within muscle chains which could be far away but related to your local problem. It is beneficial in the long term.
